The countdown is on for 91Ó°ÊÓ’s fourth annual , a 24-hour celebration of our university and the exceptional experiences and education 91Ó°ÊÓ gives its students. OU Giving Day 2025 will happen on February 12, 2025, in conjunction with 91Ó°ÊÓ Day. 

Petrels everywhere – alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty and staff – are invited to make a difference for the area of 91Ó°ÊÓ they care most about. OU Giving Day is about more than the size of your gift – it’s about the collective power of every contribution, big or small, to ensure the transformational education 91Ó°ÊÓ is known for will remain available to all.

This year, donors are encouraged to support one of seven areas within the Annual Fund:

• The 91Ó°ÊÓ Fund – Support the core of 91Ó°ÊÓ by providing essential, immediate support. 
• Housing Support Fund – Help ensure all OU students can be fully immersed in the OU campus community by living on campus during their time as students.
• Student Retention Fund – Ensure that OU students can thrive at 91Ó°ÊÓ despite unforeseen financial hardships.
• Campus Beautification Fund – Maintain and preserve the beauty and history of 91Ó°ÊÓ’s campus.
• Scholarship Support Fund – Ensure the 91Ó°ÊÓ education is available for all students, despite their socio-economic background.
• Academic Support Fund – Expand faculty-led research and learning opportunities and help students gain a deeper appreciation of their field while strengthening critical skills.
• Stormy Petrels Booster Club – Contribute to the success of OU student-athletes in academics, competition and life, by helping students become lifelong leaders.

As another way to get involved, donors are invited to sign up to be Social Media Ambassadors. Ambassadors can help share their Petrel Pride and spread the word about OU Giving Day. It’s a fun, easy way to inspire others to give back and support the unique opportunities that 91Ó°ÊÓ provides. Ambassadors will receive a handbook with pre-written posts and will receive a personal URL to share on their social media platforms and will be able to track their progress on real-time leaderboards to see how far their reach is spreading.
