Dr. Joe Knippenberg breaks down Supreme Court tariff ruling on Atlanta News First

91Ӱ politics professor Dr. Joe Knippenberg appeared on Atlanta News First on Saturday morning to discuss the Supreme Court’s decision striking downPresident Donald Trump’s IEEPA tariffs. The 6–3 ruling limits the use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act for imposing broad import duties, a major development in national trade policy and executive authority.

“I think the decision is closer than what you’re going to hear from a lot of news sources,” Knippenberg said. “The majority opinion and the dissents are very powerful and persuasive.”
